Last chance for an outdoor swim: Chagford Pool closes on Sunday

The 2026 season at Chagford's much-loved outdoor pool ends this Sunday 6 September. After that it's a long wait until next summer for an open-air swim with a Dartmoor view.

For the final week the pool is open as usual on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (though no dawn dippers on Thursday), closed all day Friday, then open as usual on Saturday and Sunday, the last day of the season.

Times and tickets are at chagfordswimmingpool.co.uk.
